Introducing...

As the son of the charity’s founder, Rick embodies a legacy of dedication since its inception and was the natural successor to Eddie.

Norman, Eddie's youngest son and an ex-army veteran, brings invaluable expertise from an 18-year tenure as a supervisor and trainer at Birds Eye. His exceptional DIY skills, coupled with his wealth of experience, define him as the exceptional manager he is.

Rob, with a background in mechanics, forms the cornerstone of the management team, lending invaluable experience to the workshop's operations.
At Turning Corners, we support people across Hull and East Yorkshire who are rebuilding their lives after mental health challenges, brain injuries or difficult times. Our workshop offers purpose, friendship, and the chance to regain confidence one step at a time.

A welcoming and supportive woodworking workshop where people can learn practical skills, build confidence, and feel part of a community again. Through hands-on training and guidance, attendees gain experience that can help them move toward further education, volunteering, or employment. It’s a space to rediscover purpose, make friends, and take meaningful steps back into everyday life - a place where everyone can truly be themselves again.

We’re located within the grounds of the Active+ Sports and Entertainment Venue on Harpings Road in Hull, East Yorkshire.
